Fudgy Brownie and bars

INGREDIENTS

BROWNIE QTY Units
Mix ‘n Bake - Brownie Mix® - 1000 grams 6 cups
Eggs - 200 grams 4 pieces
Water - 60 grams 1/4 cup
Magnolia Gold Butter - 50 grams 1/4 cup
BROWNIE SMORES QTY Units
White Marshmallow 2 cups
Graham Cracker (gournd) 1 cup
Chocolate (melted) 1 cup

MIX

  • Place all ingredients in a mixer bowl
  • Mix for 1 minute at low speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl.
  • Continue mixing for 1 minute or until well blended.

PAN

  • Spread batter onto 2 greased and paper-lined 9-inch square pans.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts or chocolate chips over the batter to make variants.

BAKE

  • Bake at 170ºC for about 18 minutes or until a cake tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool on pan for about 15 minutes. For more moist texture and more appealing finish, brush surface with light syrup.
  • Remove from pan. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
  • Yields about 72 of 1.5 x 1.5 – inch bars.

COOK

  • Spread batter onto 2 greased and paper-lined 12 x 16 inch rectangular pan.

BAKE

  • Bake at 170ºC for about 8 – 10 minutes.
  • Remove pans from the oven, then spread evenly 2 cups of white marshmallow on 1 pan. Heat in the oven for about 3 minutes or until marshmallows are melted.
  • Spread powdered graham crackers then cover using the other brownie sheet. Glaze with syrup.

DECORATE

  • Cool completely, refrigerate.
  • Divide into 8 equal portions.
  • Drizzle top with melted chocolate.

NOTES:

  • Baking conditions may vary depending on the type of oven used.
